This BLOG is about life, thinking and living well.
For a long time life seemed to be just a little of kilter. I often wondered why life couldn’t be easier, and I’d ask, what can I do to be happier? Don’t get me wrong, I had all the reasons to be happy – a great career, wonderful family and friends, a loving relationship, and so many other things most of us take for granted. It just seemed something was missing. For some reason the thought of having more was always there. As if more could bring happiness. Then everything changed a few years ago when I discovered our lives are the result of our thoughts.
“You are today where your thoughts have brought you;
you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you.”
~ James Allen (1864-1912)
Can being happy be as simple as changing our thoughts from sadness to happiness? You bet it can! My life changed when I decided to THiNK gratitude versus feeling life was somehow cheating me.
“There is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way.
There is no way to peace. Peace is the way.
There is no way to enlightenment. Enlightenment is the way.”
~ Thich Nhat Hanh
Through the unsolved murder of my brother Carl, I learned how to THiNK Consciously. Join me on this new journey. Being intentional with what we think can change our today, tomorrow, our life and our world. To be happy, we must THiNK HAPPY!
“It is not the mountain we conquer but ourselves.”
~ Sir Edmund Hillary, 1919-2008

Thank you so much for leaving a comment. Sheila and I loved meeting you and John on that cruise last year, you guys are great. Too bad you don’t live in Nashville, we could hang out. We could easily be friends with you guys. Thanks for wanting to read my book, it will be out soon.

Britney:
You are too kind. Girl I can feel your enthusiasm, thank you. I am glad my words make you think about things and ideas, those words come from some crazy thoughts sometimes. I love exercising my brain in ways I never have. It seems lately my brain has been working double time. You and Eddie are wonderful and I am blessed to know you both. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.
I love you too.
Connie

Connie, I can’t wait for you and Sheila to meet my son Chip. I know I am a proud Mama but I think you will understand why after you talk to him. He has had the best attitude all his life. I am in constant awe of him. He started his own business when he was 15; he bought a comic book store in a strip mall, and operated a successful business while still going to high school. After high school he wanted to go to film school and he worked full time so he could go to Watkins there in Nashville and he paid 100% of it himself. He has never ceased to amaze me and everyone else, I think it is based on “how he thinks” which some say is outside the box, but whatever it is it works. He has a successful business there in Nashville. http://www.ComeToTheExperts.com Attending your all’s session and listening to you two talk, I knew you had to meet my son.
I didn’t get your book at the Summit but will be ordering it soon, can’t wait to read it.
Dear San Dee. First, let me apologize for the late response. I just found this comment in the spam folder. Not sure why or how that happened, but I am glad I found your message. Second, you son sounds amazing. What an inspiration he must be and at such a young age. I am sure he will do amazing things. Thanks for attending our class and thanks also for ordering my book. Feel free to leave a review on Amazon or here when you are finished reading. I appreciate you taking the time to send a message. Hope you have a great weekend. Please tell Chip we said “Hello” and to keep doing what he’s doing. The world needs more Chips, more self-starters. He sounds like one of our kind!
Cheers,
Connie
